“If you don’t like my cooking, you can cook for yourself!”… I reckon I was 13 years old when my mum, understandably, got so frustrated with my “fussiness” and uttered those words. Little did she expect me to answer “OK, I will!”.
My obsession with food and cooking began there and continues to this day! Back then I stuck to very easy-to-make dishes, I actually can’t remember where I found recipes- probably in my mum’s cookbooks or in the supermarket magazines she’d bring home.
Over the years I’ve tried out countless recipes, tried out many cuisines, attended several cooking courses and discovered I love making up my own dishes much more than just following recipes. That’s what led me here: I want to share my creations with the world so others can enjoy my dishes as much as I do!
I think cooking can be for everyone: it can be as easy and quick or as elaborate and time-consuming as you want. With a bit of practice, anyone can find out what works best for them and, most importantly, what they find tastiest!
